My dear YouTube friends, I have some bad news.

I moved house last week.

Which means we are saying goodbye to this lovely filming background...

I actually really liked it.

And secretly I quite like the fact that my bed is in the background for some bedroom YouTuber vibes.

And one day when I'm being interviewed on the Diary of a CEO I can say "I literally built a $1bn business from my bedroom" and all that good stuff, while I shed a tear about all the sacrifices I made, for them to put in the cinematic intro.

Alas, we move on. Change is good for the soul.

I have a temporary new desk setup in my brother's place while me and my gf look for a new house.

And this week I've been enjoying one thing in particular about my business.

Something that my entrepreneur friends warned me about...

The dreaded "free Skool group" which they said will take up too much time, wouldn't be worth it, and isn't solving the real problem.

But I wanted to try it. And sometimes that is a good enough reason to do something.

So, some notes on what's happened with it:

• It's been live almost 2 months
• We've crossed 700 legendary YouTubers
• It's generated 350 new emails for my business
• I've delivered 7 workshops/calls
• I've released the Thumbnail Masterclass course for free (previously $199)
• We've trended on the Skool homepage (albeit briefly)
• Many members have said they've been loving it
• It's directly led to at least $20k+ in revenue (so far) through sales to my programme.

Not bad for an experiment.

But more importantly, it has felt FUN.

It's been fun to see what happens, to talk live with new aspiring YouTubers, to learn new skills, and to embrace an experiment.

And honestly, to help people for free.

Because over the long term, the more you give the more you get. *Inserts basic Canva diagram*

And I'm excited to see how that plays out over the next 2-3 years.

So big unsurprising headline is: I'm going to keep doing it!
